Connect water level and mechanism
Assess existing assets before replacement
Skimming troughs must be positioned relative to the water surface so that floating material can be removed selectively. When the water level changes, manual adjustment creates additional operator effort.
TARVO Solutions handles these tasks as a retrofit: the existing skimming trough and its mechanism are first surveyed technically. Depending on the existing design, water-level sensing can be combined with a suitable drive to adjust the position automatically to the operating condition.
The existing trough and other reusable infrastructure are incorporated into the solution.
For a technical assessment, we need information about the basin and skimming trough, range of movement, current adjustment, water-level variations, existing controls, and available mechanical and electrical interfaces.
This information is used to determine which existing components can continue to be used and which additions are required for automation.
The survey determines how automation can be integrated into the mechanism and controls.
