Double-pipe and shell-and-tube systems
Performance, cleaning and maintenance

A heat exchanger must do more than connect two temperatures. Material properties, solids content, viscosity, fouling tendency, permissible pressure drop and subsequent cleaning determine which design is appropriate for the process.

TARVO Solutions develops and manufactures double-pipe and shell-and-tube heat exchangers for heating, cooling and condensing tasks. Potential heat recovery can also be considered within a defined system boundary.

The design is based on the specific heat duty while also taking account of the installation position, connections, and maintenance and cleaning requirements.

For a preliminary technical design, we need the process stream or mass or volume flow, inlet and required outlet temperatures, available heating or cooling media, operating and design pressure, and information about viscosity, solids and potential fouling.

For retrofit projects, existing drawings, connection dimensions and the available space are also important.

This information allows us to determine which design and project scope are appropriate for the task.
